The day of reckoning for the swamp tree that I have been battling these many weeks.  It damned near killed me at one point when a branch fell and grazed my head, but its now doomsday. But I have learnt my lesson.  I enlist the support of neighbors to tackle the beast.  In good management style I assemble “A TEAM”  Capt. Bob and Crahy Mike are my fellow tree fellers…The rope has been attached to the upper reach of the tree by Capt. Bob and attached to the rear of Crahby Mikes truck. Tension has been applied and we are ready to go.

Finally the weather breaks and we have a beautiful sunset. I always remember the old saying ” Red sky at night, Shepherds delight.  Red sky in the morning, shepherds warning”. It looks like we are going to have a beautiful day tomorrow. Its all about the promise!

If you can believe the way I am dressed????  Wooly hat, turtle neck sweater, jacket…this is FLORIDA IN FEB.  It is supposed to be WARM..that’s why folks come to Florida in the winter.  I am told that at one time this year there was SNOW on the ground in all of the States of the Union apart from Hawaii…Pity those poor souls who flee cold New Jersey to end up in colder Florida…that is if you live by the river and the Gulf.  Sandy looks pretty happy though..the cold agrees with her!
