Going Back To School

I am playing the role of professor at the University of Colorado.
I am playing the role of professor at the University of Colorado.
I was asked to teach a class at Colorado University. The course was “sales and marketing” and I spoke about being an entrepreneur.   I had 1 hour and 15 minutes and it flew by.   However, you can cover a lot of ground in 75 minutes and I hope they gained something from the hard won experiences that I shared with them.  I enjoyed the experience…I’ll do it again if asked!  Here I am being introduced by Alice, who forgot my bio so read a description of my career from the back of my book.  No one seemed to mind.

Irishman

England vs Ireland, Rugby Classic

Today England played Ireland in the six Nations Rugby classic. It is an important match for both sides with the World Cup coming up in October, England is currently the world champion but have had a troubled reign. I decided to watch the game in an Irish pub in Denver. It was a DISASTER for England and they lost badly….you can tell from this photo how happy the Irish were. They deserved the win, that much I can say.

Rockies to Phoenix

In the air again, heading West this time. Every time I cross the Rockies the plane seems to take a slightly different route and I get slightly different shot..

UFO or Plane?

This is a really unusual shot. If you look carefully you will see the ghostly image of a plane flying through a rainbow.

Not only that, but the rainbow is in the form of a circle. It is the plane I was on somehow reflected against the clouds with the rain bouncing back the light into a rainbow. Why a circle? I haven’t a clue! How it happened? Also not a clue. The only other explanation is that it was a ghost plane flying tandem with us….kind of spooky!

Dirt

One of the interesting things about Phoenix is that they they seem to enclose everything with tall palm trees. This was a huge open space of dirt, very attractively bordered. Space for future development maybe?
