Up On The Stage Again, Playing Star Again
September 25th, 2007What is that song by Bob Seeger that has the line “Up on the stage again, playing star again?” Well here I am playing star again! There is an important sales meeting that was due to take place this week that was postponed until late October. I am not going to be in the country for the new meeting date so I decided to do a video of what I would have said at the meeting. Actually it turned out to be a really good idea and not only did I do a video specifically for the meeting I am to miss, I did a more generic version that can be shown to anyone interested in our teas. The shoot took all day, but the results were well worth while. I have seen the rough cuts and they are pretty good, even if I say so myself. Stars are allowed to say things like that…..
Another Dog
September 24th, 2007A new entity has entered my life in the form of ANOTHER DOG! We are heading the wrong way I swear. We are supposed to shedding things at our age, loosening the ties that bind us to homes and kids so that we can be free to travel or do whatever. Instead Sandy has adopted “Lillybelle” a six inch, six week old, female Chiwahwa. That’s Lillybelle in the picture…I suppose she is small enough to take with us but it was not part of my plan….she is cute though, and on the drive up to Vail the only place she was happy and content was under my shirt, where she slept happily all the way up the mountain.
The Tea and Health Symposium
September 24th, 2007The Tea and Health Symposium was held at the Department of Agriculture. As I walked around the building I saw some really strange department signs. I could not resist taking some shots of these and I thought I would share them with you. These are our tax dollars at work? The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization? What pray does that mean?
The First Day Of Fall
September 23rd, 2007Boulder Bumper Stickers
September 21st, 2007As I mentioned Boulder is a land of bumper stickers. No matter what political persuasions you might have, some of the stickers are plain hilarious. I roared with laughter when I saw this one. ”Never thought I’d miss Nixon” Guess the driver is a fully paid up member of the Peoples Republic Of Boulder. A land unto itself…
